Convergence analysis and application of fuzzy-HDP for nonlinear discrete-time HJB systems
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this paper, a type of fuzzy system structure is applied to heuristic dynamic programming (HDP) algorithm to solve nonlinear discrete-time Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman (DT-HJB) problems. The fuzzy system here is adopted as a 0-order T–S fuzzy system using triangle membership functions (MFs). The convergence of HDP and approximability of the multivariate 0-order T–S fuzzy system is analyzed in this paper. It is derived that the cost function and control policy of HDP can be iterated to the DT-HJB solution and optimal policy. The multivariate 0-order T–S (Tanaka–Sugeno) fuzzy system using triangle MFs is proven as a universal approximator, to guarantee the convergence of the Fuzzy-HDP mechanism. Some simulations are implemented to observe the performance of the proposed method both in mathematical solution and practical issue. It is concluded that Fuzzy-HDP outperforms traditional optimal control in more complex systems. & 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

متن کاملAdmissibility analysis for discrete-time singular systems with time-varying delays by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model
This paper is pertained with the problem of admissibility analysis of uncertain discrete-time nonlinear singular systems by adopting the state-space Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model with time-delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. Lyapunov Krasovskii functionals are constructed to obtain delay-dependent stability condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which is dependent on the low...

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control scheme is proposed for a class of perturbed strict-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown discrete and distributed time-varying delays, and the proposed design method does not require a priori knowledge of the signs of the control gains.Based on the backstepping technique, the adaptive fuzzy controller is constructed. متن کاملStability analysis of nonlinear hybrid delayed systems described by impulsive fuzzy differential equations
In this paper we introduce some stability criteria of nonlinear hybrid systems with time delay described by impulsive hybrid fuzzy system of differential equations. Firstly, a comparison principle for fuzzy differential system based on a notion of upper quasi-monotone nondecreasing is presented. Here, for stability analysis of fuzzy dynamical systems, vector Lyapunov-like functions are defined....
متن کاملAdaptive fuzzy pole placement for stabilization of non-linear systems
A new approach for pole placement of nonlinear systems using state feedback and fuzzy system is proposed. We use a new online fuzzy training method to identify and to obtain a fuzzy model for the unknown nonlinear system using only the system input and output. Then, we linearized this identified model at each sampling time to have an approximate linear time varying system. In order to stabilize...
